My name is Rory, and I'm a Care Bears collector in their late twenties who has been a lifelong Care Bears fan ever since watching my children-of-the-70's-and-80's Mom & Aunt's classic Care Bears VHS tapes. My favourite bears are Cheer and Tenderheart, and my favorite cousin is Braveheart Lion - in that order. I'm so excited to bring you guys this fansite which creating and updating has become a true labor of love. 

I'm a genderqueer parent who grew up in New York City and have since relocated to rural Delaware with my partner and our family of 6 (which includes 1 human baby and 3 fur babies).

Besides Care Bears, my interests include tarot and other forms of cartomancy, yoga, videogames (especially The Sims, Palia, and Guild Wars 2), literature, creative writing, religious studies, philosophy, sociology, history (with particular focuses on American history, gender and sexuality, politics, and witchcraft), modern music, and media and pop culture (nostalgic or otherwise).
